Hospital: National Hospital Abuja (NHA)
NHA was originally called National Hospital for Women and Children(NHWC) designed to cater to the needs of women and children, however, in the year 2000 the name was changed to National Hospital Abuja with a mandate to cater to all.
NHA is where almost all hospitals in Abuja refer patients hence increasing the workload. Although it further gives that exposure
Accommodation: Accommodation in NHA is not bad actually, house officers have their Quarters and the rooms are quite comfortable, there are two blocks, blocks A and B with over 50 rooms, and there is also a general kitchen that is shared by 3-4 persons in a flat
Downside: There aren’t enough rooms in the Quarters compared to the number of house officers, also getting a room there is a hassle because it has to be allocated to you by the person in charge and you know nau everything is through connection in Nigeria.
Upside: House officers don’t get to share rooms and both the toilet and bathroom are inside the room so you have your privacy. The air conditioners are working in most rooms and there’s light and water at least most times.
Salary: it is the same as MDCN (244k monthly)
Flex: Abuja is a beautiful city, especially at night. Although the cost of living is pricey there are a lot of fun places and restaurants to visit depending on the kind of vibe you want.
Orderliness: Every department has its way of doing things though, some are more organized than others.
Some doctors are nice as well as the nurses, some would even help make the workload a little less stressful for you, but there are some toxic ones.
Food: HO’s usually have meal tickets to get food in the hospital although I haven’t eaten there tho, there are also other places within the hospital where you can also get nice food.
You can also have food delivered to you if you don’t have the time to cook or get it outside the hospital yourself.
Dr. Ononiwu Chimmuanya (MBBS OKADA 2022) (HO- NHA)
Hospital: Federal Medical Centre Jabi, Abuja (FMC JABI)
FMC Jabi is a very good Centre, not too big but well equipped. Learning is fantastic especially when you apply yourself. The workload is fair you resume at 8 am and close by 4 pm except if you’re on Call or you still have ongoing unit activities.
Accommodation: Initially used to be free but now 10k per month minus electricity bills, so roughly 15-20k per month.
It’s a 4 bedroom apart from each room in the suite, there’s a general kitchen and living room. Quite comfortable and big.
Downside: Getting the place is usually by connection, it does not appear on the portal so you will have to work out your connection on time before or immediately after you finish.
The accommodation is not located within the hospital but it’s like a 10-minute drive away and it is not sufficient, you may have to wait for people to leave or rent accommodation close by.
If you’re Abuja-based and your house is very far away, there’s a staff bus you can join for a subsidized rate.
Upside: The hospital is very neat, with the prompt response and standard patient care.
Not a toxic environment, good connection
Salary: Same as MDCN (244k monthly)
Flex: Abuja is very nice, cool with many chilling spots, although you will have to be ready to pay o. Wonderful places to visit.
Orderliness: Organized setting, everything is computerized, we don’t give IV drugs except if it needs be.
Administration, HR is fine, they won’t stress you, registration can be completed in a day or two days.
Very few toxic senior colleagues, everyone is generally nice except you mess up.
Food: We order food most times ooo, but there’s somewhere they sell food, noodles and snacks
Dr.Favour Okpala (HO @ FMC JABI)
Hospital: Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja; (LASUTH)
LASUTH is a world-class teaching hospital, located at 1-5 Oba Akinjobi Way, Ikeja. Lagos is an uncommonly busy place to be (In other words, your eye has not seen, neither has it come into your mind, the workload that LASUTH has for you)
Accommodation: LASUTH provides very good, nevertheless, limited accommodation for its house officers. The doctors quarters can accommodate about 40-56 people, 2 per room. Accommodation is selected by balloting, however, over 3/4 is secured by CONNECTION.
I paid a refundable caution fee of 50,000 which was returned at my clearance on the condition that the room was intact (Who knows, the dollar rate may have affected the maintenance fee now)
The room has an AC and it is spacious. It also has a bathroom with a toilet, a bathtub, a sink, and a water heater. There’s a kitchen with a cooker and a fridge.
The room already contains a bed, mattress and pillow, In summary, it is a furnished self-contained except that it is not “self”…but “twos” and you don’t get to pick the other person, or you can, but with what? CONNECT.
In this life, build relationships, those are the future “CONNECTS” for your kids. There is fair power supply, there is mostly light from night till the next morning on most Days.
Salary: 290k
Payment is made on the 23/24th; there may be a few delays here and there but rest assured it will drop
before the month ends
Flex: LASUTH is located in one of the liveliest places in Lagos! Additionally, Ikeja is somewhat of a central location, so you can go up and down but that is if they Don’t injure you with hard labour.
There are supermarkets, restaurants, cinemas, parks, and even some of those aesthetic places you see around. (Do not finish your money)
Order: At the start of every posting, your duty will be clearly stated to you by your senior colleagues 2 major things are to be available❕, physically, on the phone (get a good network); but not to the point of death And to communicate effectively.
Usually, House officers do Ward rounds, secure IV access, and give certain medications (calcium gluconate, MgSo4), and do mop-ups/plan following Ward rounds with senior colleagues. House job is like any other avenue for meeting and interacting with human beings.
There’ll be outstandingly wonderful people like Dr Adesina of BPSU and outstandingly wonderful (Sarcastically) people too but that is part of life.
You learn to deal with different personalities and become more emotionally intelligent.
The majority of your colleagues are nice though.
Some admin officers and senior nurses transfer aggression but no vex ok, (it is usually personality
dependent and you cannot change it, instead, try to build good relationships with them)
Food: Phase 2 is like a mini market in LASUTH, (they do not sell raw food o) PickRite, a restaurant in the student’s hostel
BJ Foods delivers Shawarma, rice, and spaghetti at an affordable price (his contact will always be on the group chat), A few snack shops around and then there is this Barcellos kiosk opposite Surgical Emergency where they sell one beautiful chicken pie like, so tasty, I say to you again: Don’t finish your money
Dr Simi Coker (EX-HO LASUTH)
Hospital: Federal Medical Centre Ebutte Meta ( FMCEB), Lagos State
FMCEB best described as a private government institution is a renowned center known to offer quality and excellent medical care.
It is located at the heart of Lagos within the Nigeria Railway Cooperation in Ebutte meta.
It is a small but busy center with a good number of medical infrastructures not present in most government-owned health facilities in the country; this goes to explain why it is very competitive and highly sought after as well as expensive to afford care
As you are well aware FMC is situated in Lagos with the high cost of living, so the affordability of services depends on your economic prudence and choices.
Accommodation: There are 3 accommodations allocated to House officers at FMCEB.
1. Family planning ( Rich Kids)
2. Bode Thomas ( Middle class)
3. Ikejiani (Trenches)
Family Planning is located within the hospital premises with a 24-hour electricity supply and AC. Some rooms have bunks inside while some don’t. You get to share a room with another HO
The accommodation Fee is 100k as of last year.
The description of rich kids doesn’t in any way infer that allocation is based on societal class as application and allocation is the same for everyone, however, it goes to explain that it is the most comfortable.
Bode Thomas is located a few walks away from the hospital and has an AC plus generator as backup. Electricity is not 24 hrs and you get to have a roommate each person pays a Fee is 70k (one-time payment)
Ikejiani is located farther away from the hospital, the bike fee is 150 Naira and it is by far the oldest of all the hostels. Infrastructure is not top-notch, spaces are tiny in some rooms but you get to have a fan in your room.
There’s also a diesel gen that serves as a backup when the power supply is out.
Fee: 50k per head and you get to have a roommate in the sizeable rooms
Upside: The workload at FMC is far less compared to other tertiary institutions like LUTH or LASUTH. It is not a teaching hospital so House officers have opportunities to assist in surgeries/procedures and as well learn many skills.
Amazing working environment, no toxicity and beautiful scenery for all who love to take pictures at the place
Downside: Hardly appears in the portal. So you will need a connection either in MDCN or within the hospital administration. If you’re lucky through the portal like me and some of my colleagues
Salary: Same as MDCN (244k monthly)
Flex: Plenty for Lagos, na your pocket go determine how frequent you’ll keep to that
Orderliness: House officers don’t give IV medications except for drugs like labetalol, calcium gluconate,MgSo4 etc that require strict monitoring. But you go set line tire especially when you’re on call
Food: Most of us survived by ordering food, you can’t be at FMC and do not know the Chowdeck app. It has all the restaurants and delicacies therein.
In all it is a beautiful center and I cherished my experiences there I highly recommend for as many that can get the opportunity to be there
Dr. Luke ( EX-HO FMCEB)

The hospital is Located in the city center of Ibadan!
Accommodation: It’s Now exorbitant, 15k per month, A self-contained with sizeable room (though old building). They have a new one under construction.
Downside: Workload is much especially in Neurosurgery, Nephrology and pediatrics!
Ward rounds starts by 6am dot in Neurosurgery, Monday till Sunday (Non-negotiable since time immemorial). You have to be a smart DR!
Upside: The hospital is very neat, with prompt response and standard patients’ care.
The 2 HO Quarters are domiciled within the hospital premises, so no transport expenses.

Dr. Emmanuel (EX-HO UCH)

For your Housemanship plug, join this group
Accommodation: Accommodation is free and its located in GHL,Odan . There are 2 quarters. One is a 2 storey building that has 6 flats and 2 persons share a flat.
The other is a 10 storey building and has 30 apartments and 30 boy’s quarters.
27 apartments are just 1 bedroom flat of which 3 persons share. It comprises of a bedroom, a parlor, a dining room, a standard bathroom toilet and a standard kitchen.
One person takes the bedroom and the other 2 demarcates the dining room and parlor to offer some privacy.
But the demarcation is done by people and sometimes, when they are leaving, they may want to sell the demarcation to the new occupants. As high as 30-60k.
3 apartments are 2 bedrooms. The ones on the 10th floor and are shared by 4 people.. Each comprises of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms& toilets and 1 kitchen.
The BQ is just a single room for a single person. 3 BQs share a small sized toilet, bathroom and kitchen. There is a rooftop which has a very beautiful scenery of the lagoon and the marina train station.
A thrill thing is that the doctors quarters is located close to the tallest building in Nigeria.
UPSIDE: The working environment is friendly, doctors and other staffs respect one another.
It is located in the happening areas of Lagos. Doctors don’t give IV drugs (just labetalol and MgSO4) or blood.
The hospital makes use of EMR (Electronic Medical Record)
SALARY: #292,000 Monthly (Highest so far)
FOOD- Well, one can’t find lots of shops around. But there are shops within the hospital, there are places to buy food (mama put) as well as eateries that sell very affordable and nice meals
Dr. Adelotan Anu
HO @GHL Odan
Hospital: Federal Teaching Hospital Ido Ekiti (FETHI)
FETHI is a moderate sized center, with skilled personnel’s. Organized (everyone knows what their job is)
Accommodation: 2 in a room, 5k per month, there is the old and new building. The old has more room space compared to the new but the kitchen is smaller. The new building is finer sha you get “new”
Downside: There is no enough Resident doctors especially Paediatrics and surgery (Japa syndrome plenty die).
This is making the workload look more but it is still bearable. (So if you want to specialize in any of these specialties I think Fethi is a great place. Pass rate is very good )
Another thing is everyone wants to exploit you because you are a doctor.
The residents of Ido banks so much on the fact that they own fethi and so they should reap from it too. Be wise
Upside: The Workload is bearable compared to other big centers. Your senior colleague are approachable which makes learning easy. Standard and prompt response to patient too
Salary: Same as MDCN (244k Montly)
Flex: Flex? if you want to flex avoid FETHI. No cinema, no ShopRite, no Bolt o even the state capital don’t have it but there are supermarkets that are okay. There is paintball like 3towns away from ido.
There is the amazing ikogosi too, you get to see where cold and warm water don’t mix. Majorly If you want to save money, Fethi is for you. You won’t spend much 😂. You are welcome.
Oh I heard there is a spa now in Ado. The little flex you can get are all like 45min drive from ido to ado
Orderliness: Organized setting, you do all procedures (IV access, catherization etc). Nurses give all IV medication except those like dopamine infusion, calcium gluconate, and some other ones.
Administration: HR is fine, they won’t stress you, registration can be completed in a day oror two ,If you paying any money to anyone be sure what you are paying for though
Food: the hospital give call meal ticket each is a sum of 450naira and you can use it at 3 different spot ( Fethi kitchen, ARD lounge, Iya Ibadan) you can get ice cream with it too.
The meals are good.
Dr. Faniyan Omowumisi (HO @ FETHI)
Hospital: Babcock University Teaching Hospital (BUTH)
This is a Seventh- day Adventist health institution located in Ilishan-Remo, Ogun state. Accommodation: Accommodation is free.
You get a room to yourself, which comes with a bed, lockers, table and chair. You are entitled to a TV and a refrigerator of your own.
There are 4 kitchens each with a gas cooker but you can also have yours if you want to. There’s light almost every day and hardly any issues with water supply.
Downside: The hospital and university are located in a rural area (but that can be a good thing if you want to save money).
They have a lot of rules and restrictions, especially for the females (jewelry is not allowed, trousers are not allowed unless they’re wearing scrubs, jeans are not allowed for everyone). You have limited options for food, if you don’t cook.
Upside: Not toxic. Very good working environment. They have a lot of facilities (and a lot of these facilities are functional). The workload is bearable.
They take their staff welfare very seriously. You get time for yourself, but that depends on the available man power at a particular period
Salary: #260,000 Monthly
Flex: Nothing to write home about here. If you want to flex you’d probably have to travel to do that.
Orderliness: The healthcare system here is organized. There is still room for improvement but what we have here is decent.
Food: The food is not so great. Plus, all the cafeteria and shops close off during Sabbath hours ( that’s from around 6:30pm on Friday till 6:30pm on Saturday), so you’ll have to find food somewhere outside or prepare ahead of time.
Dr. Simon
HO @ BUTH
Hospital: Babcock University Teaching Hospital (BUTH)
Babcock teaching hospital is a private teaching hospital and a well organized ecosystem
The workload here ranges from mild to severe depending on the unit you’re in. You might be lucky to have no patient in your unit for like 3 days and then rises to like 10 the following days.
So it all depends on the week .. But since I’ve been here , it’s been soft for me . The center is a good place to gain a lot of experiences and learn as you go
Accommodation: Accommodation in BUTH is just average to me personally as I have to share bathroom and toilet but on the good side, you have almost 24/7 light , Wi-Fi, TV , Queen- size bed, and fridge. Accommodation is free and available for house officers
Downside: You have to share bathroom and toilet and kitchen
Upside: Accommodation within the university and trekkable distance from buth
Salary: 260k (monthly)
Flex: No much places to flex as outside town is boring except you have to go to shagamu or Ikenne to flex which are neighboring towns .

House officers do majority of the bedside procedure like IV cannulation, urethral catheterization and so on and can call for help when needed .. the nurses administer the drugs except chemotherapy drugs where they house officer in general surgery unit will have to administer on Fridays
Food: You can cook free days and store in the freezer for months as there’s always constant light. Good call food too.. There are only few places you can buy good food within the hospital, I mean meat , chicken and all .. Foods here are kind of expensive though.
Dr. Fedrick Omoniyi
HO at BUTH
Federal University Teaching Hospital Owerri (FUTH OWERRI)

The workload here ranges from mild to severe depending on the unit you’re in .. You might be lucky to have no patient in your unit for like 3 days and then rises to like 10 the following days. So it all depends on the week.
But since I’ve been here , it’s been soft for me ,except for my O and G posting where I am finding a bit challenging because of the firm I entered. The center is a good place to gain a lot of experiences and learn as you go.
Accommodation: Accommodation in FUTHO is just average to me personally, although I don’t stay in the HOQ but I have heard stories about it, I am not comfortable with the poor electricity, sometimes, lack of water and also mosquito bites in the HOQ, the best thing about it is that you don’t have to share an apartment with anyone
Accommodation is not free, and basically not available for everyone, because many of us stay outside because of the no vacancy
Downside: instability of electricity, water and mosquito bites
Upside: you don’t have to share apartment with anyone
Salary: 244k
Flex: Owerri is a cool place, you will enjoy yourself if you are the out going type
Orderliness: So far you do your job well, you won’t have a problem. It’s been going well till I entered o and G where I met very very toxic people..but it’s all good,.I have also met very amazing people in my stay here
House officers do majority of the bedside procedure like IV cannulation,iv medication, urethral catheterization, blood transfusion and so on ou and can call for help when needed .. the nurses administer the drugs except chemotherapy drugs and iv medication.

Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital, OJO (NNRH)
Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital is a military hospital located at Navy town, Lagos. It has a neat environment and beautiful scenery.
The roads are peaceful, secure and buildings are in close proximity to one another so you don’t get to travel long distances to chase lab results and blood. Yes, inasmuch as it’s a military environment, everyone is friendly depending on your own energy too.
Work load:
The workload ranges from moderate to severe depending on what unit you are posted to.
I consider it as an opportunity to learn as the centre affords you the opportunity to engage partially or fully in procedures, prioritizing your learning over just the running around.
You gain vital experiences, especially skills and get taught on the job.
It’s not a teaching hospital so you don’t get to see the hierarchy of registrars and residents here except in units like Obstetrics and gynecology.
Accommodation: Accommodation in NNRH for house officers residence is fair enough. It’s a mini flat with two rooms(2 in a room), then you get to share the kitchen and bathroom with your flatmates.Feel free to renovate as you like. Security is good too.
Accommodation is free so I’ll say it’s worth it to an extent. There’s light most of the time and water too. Some rooms have working air conditioners and fridge while others do not so again, feel free to renovate.
Upside: Accommodation within the hospital and trekkable distance ranging between 2-5 minutes walk.
Salary: 171K plus a monthly stipend
Flex: It’s “Lagos” and there are places in Lagos. As long as you’re able to make out time to have fun, do what works for you.
Orderliness: So far you do your job well, you won’t have a problem.
Most superiors are friendly
House officers do majority of the bedside procedure like IV cannulation, urethral catheterization and so on ou and can call for help when needed .. the nurses administer the drugs and can also help with these procedures if you’re so occupied as long as you’ve established a good rapport with them.
Food: You can cook whenever you want light is constant. There’s call food which is not so satisfying but they try.
There are few places you can buy good food within the hospital and outside, you can also save the stress by using Chowdeck, glovo and other food delivery apps. For an average spender, you may spend 3000-5000 naira daily on food. It’s really not as bad as people made it seem here.
As long as you’re friendly, you do what you’re supposed to do and understand your boundaries, you’ll have little to no problem…I guess.

Obafemi Awolowo teaching hospital (OAUTHC)
Obafemi Awolowo teaching hospitals Complex is a federal teaching hospital. It has a wide land mass, hereby having departments structured apart from each other

I consider it as an opportunity to learn as the centre affords you the opportunity to be part of procedures, prioritising your learning over just the running around. The senior officers (Residents and consultants) are relatively friendly and provide an environment friendly enough to communicate your needs. Although they request and expect strongly that you do every vital tasks assigned to you.
Accommodation: Accommodation in OAUTHC house officers residence is just TERRIBLE. Firstly , it is hard to get and may take you 2-3 months to get 1. Nevertheless, when you get one, you get a room to yourself with kitchen and bathroom. Feel free to renovate as you like. Security is good too.
Accommodation is paid for. I believe about 120k to be paid by the end of your housemanship.
Upside: Accommodation within the university and trekkable distance ranging between 5-15 minutes walk. Nevertheless, tricycles are available.
Salary: #244,500
Flex: No much places to flex as outside town is relatively uneventful. Nevertheless, you may have to go to the campus area before seeing things. There is a movie not too far away though. As well as a few malls.

Most superiors are friendly

Asokoro District Hospital Abuja
Asokoro District Hospital is a state government hospital in the FCT, under the jurisdiction of the Hospital Management Board.
It is not so large, so you don’t have to walk far. Nonetheless it’s facilities are adequate and it is well maintained.
Work load: You’re to rotate through 4 Departments here: Internal medicine( not subdivided into units or specialities, so no rotation through gastroenterology or cardiology etc, which isn’t bad because you get to see a variety of cases but at the same time there is no consultant neurologist at the moment) , Surgery(General, pediatrics and orthopedic surgery), Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Pediatrics.
They have a good number of consultants in each department and senior registrars(except in medicine and pediatrics, that do not have registrars but medicine will commence their residency sometime this year).
But the consultants are very accessible. So because of the paucity of registrars in internal medicine and pediatrics so the house officers take the role of registrars.
So it’s a good centre if you want to develop your skills and be hands on as you get to do any procedure you want to do. They would teach you first though and make sure you’re comfortable before allowing you attempt.
The workload ranges from moderate to severe depending on what unit you are posted to. I think it is also dependent on the number of HOs in a department. If the HOs are few the workload can be quite severe atimes.
The senior officers (Medical officers, residents and consultants) are quite friendly and accessible.
The environment is friendly and majorly non toxic. It is an excellent place to learn and brush up on your skills. Provided you do what is expected of you they will be no issues…usually
Accommodation: Accommodation is decent and free but quite limited. There is currently a waiting list, people have been waiting for 4-6 months and still no accommodation.
So you can imagine the competition. It’s a 2 bedroom setup with a common kitchen and toilet. You dont’ have to to pay rent or any bills for that matter.
Light and water are basically almost always available and most have air conditioners, whether they work or not is a different story.
The security is good, they is usually an armed guard stationed at the main gate, with good security presence in general in that particular region the hospital is located.
Salary: #274,000 Monthly
Flex: Alot of places to go and hang out. It is in the heart of Abuja after all. But Asokoro is expensive!
Transportation is not so much of a problem within Asokoro, as keke and taxis are in abundance, as well as motorcycles in some areas.
Still always be security conscious. In summary, the social life around Asokoro District Hospital is really fantastic, no shortage of places to go to, it just comes down to how financially buoyant you are and the transportation you wish to use.
House officers do majority of the procedures and have to report to your chief present. Number of calls is dependent on the number of HOs, I would say about 8 calls in a month on average, sometimes it could be less or more, like I said earlier it is all dependent on the number of HOs
Food: You can cook whenever you want in the kitchen especially as light is constant. There’s call food but gotten with meal tickets given to each department to distribute. It is 2000 naira per ticket.
There is only one place you can buy food within the hospital, so variety isn’t an advantage. Especially since not everyone likes the food that is sold.
For an average spender, you may spend within 3,000 to 5,000 naira daily on food within the hospital. That is assuming you eat 2x a day.
They are other places to eat however outside the hospital, equally as expensive as the canteen in the hospital. To order food is also a viable option, it all depends on your pocket.
Also it’s important to note they usually won’t pay you until after your first 3 months. If you are lucky and finish your registration quickly then they will pay you after the first 2 months.
Nonetheless Asokoro District Hospital is a wonderful place and we look forward to having you.

MDH is a small center, one of the General Hospitals under the Hospital Management Boards(HMB) FCT, Amongst Asokoro, Wuse, etc.
Accommodation: Beautiful, Constant Light and water, you have a room to your self.
some of the apart are flats( you share kitchen and rest room) and other a room selfcon. You don’t pay for accommodation.
Salary: #270k+
Flex: Abuja is beautiful, and organised, calm city. Night life is great with vibrant bolt and uber to support your night waka. Tp go finish ur money if you like to waka. Anything wey you de find de abuja.
Orderliness: Nurses give IV drugs, however we (HO’s) get to do more of handsome here since we have more of MO’s here rather than Residents.
Administration is fine, they won’t (??)stress you, though stress is normal everywhere
I didn’t meet any toxic senior colleague.
Of course FCT hospitals don’t appear on the portal, so you have to find a strong connection to get a placement here.
Dr Oko Onyedikachi G (Ex-HO MDH)
FMC Bida (FMCB)
This is the only tertiary hospital in Niger state.
The workload is moderate. almost all hospitals in Niger state refer patients here.
Accommodation: Accommodation in FMC Bida is not bad actually, house officers have their Quarters and the rooms are quite comfortable, there are two 5, blocks A and E with over 30 apartments.
Downside: Language barrier, most people speak Nupe and a few speak Hausa or english, but the health attendants and nurses can always help with interpretation.
also getting a room there is a hassle because it has to be allocated to you by the person in charge and you know nau everything is through connection in Nigeria.
Upside: Every House officer gets an apartment for him/herself. You only get to share if the number of HOs are more than the available accommodations at the time.
There’s accommodation within the hospital, 5 blocks with 30 apartments(1 bedroom flat fully furnished with fridge, bed, chairs, table etc) and a few others outside. are inside the room so you have your privacy.
The air conditioners are not working in most rooms but there is fan, there’s light and water at least most times.
Salary: it is the same as MDCN (244k monthly)
Flex: Not much is happening in Bida, but there are cool places to eat around the polytechnic area.
Orderliness: Every department has its way of doing things though, some are more organized than others.
Most of the doctors are nice as well as the nurses, some would even help make the workload a little less stressful for you and the residents are quite understanding and fun to be around.
Food: HO’s usually have meal tickets for weekend calls to get food in the hospital, the food is average in taste not bad.
You can also have food delivered to you if you don’t have the time to cook or get it outside the hospital yourself.

Good afternoon. I must really appreciate this. It is and eye opener and guide to helping new doctors make a choice on their house job placement. Howbeit, some facilities were poorly talked about, in the sense, that the information does not really help or convince to make a choice about the place eg University of calabar teaching hospital
