It is worthy toNote that so many famous teams have equipped themselves and are ready to battle it out with others in this contest.

Plenty teams around the Europe has arrived in Germany with high hopes, but only one will come out on top. The question here is, who will that be?

Euro 2024 has just kicked off with the best players around the continent descended on Germany for what is expected to be a superb summer of football.

While some teams will have no choice than to leave during Group stage, others know that anything order than celebrating a trophy in July will be recorded as Failure.

The Show has kicked off with the host trashing Scotland 5-1 to mark their determination for the trophy. The show is meant to last for four weeks, and it willSurely be four weeks filled with drama, joy and heartbreaks in equal measure. The following are countries which are favorite to lift the Euro 2024.

1.England:

England are one of the countries which are favorites to win Euro 2024, owing to their well equipped squad and recent tournament near-miss.

The three lions remain in the spot despite their recent underwhelming form and various injury concern surrounding the squad.

Harry Maquire, who has been a vital part of the team in recent years, is not in Germany because of an injury, whilst their first choice left back Luke shaw has not played since February although he could be in line for return in their second group game against Denmark.

The three lions will be desperate to go one better than they did at the last Euro where they lost the final on penalties at Wembley.

Gareth southgate has a talented squad at his disposal. With players like Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham and phil foden, Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka arriving after stellar seasons at their variousclub levels.

England will to work really hard to pull off lingering trophy curse if they are to triumph. However, with their only major honor now dating back to

1996 world cup, they really need to bring back those memories by bringing the trophy home.

2.France:

France who knocked England out of the last World cup in Qatar, are another favorite as they aim to lift the trophy in the tournament for the third time in their history .

It is sure that this is the first tournament since 2018 where France’s squad is not the envy of every other team in the tournament.

England and Portugal boast 26-man squads teeming  with life inside of them and while France certainly look strong, they have injuries but it is not enough to stop them from winning the tournament for the third time.

Boasting a star-studded hungry to avenge their 2022 world cup final defeat, France loom as a side toreckon with in Germany. Didier Deschamps has brought real stability to their team since his appointment in 2012 and will be eager to make it out on top for the 3rd time.

France finished runners-up at Euro 2016 and will have not won the tournament since 2000 but they look ready to put another strong run together at this tournament and have the players who can step up in the big moments of the games, Players like Mbappe, Griezmann, Dembele and lots of them.

3.Portugal:

Given Portugal’s track record, it would be unfair to rule them out. In an interesting quirk, Roberto Martinez’ side have better chance of reaching the last four.

Having been helped by the Al-Nassr forward’s Goals over the recent years, Portugal are the only team to reach the knockout stages in each of the last seven Euros, a run that has stretched back to 1996.

The 2016 champions were the form team in qualifying for Euro 2024 as they won all 10 of their matches, scoring an impressive 36 goals and conceding just but two in the process.

Portugal coach Roberto Martinez has Portugal clicking at the right with Cristiano Ronaldo stilllooking eager for the cup.

The Portugal team will not be totally reliant on Ronaldo because the team has been blessed with exceptional and wonderful players with strength across the pitch.

4.Germany:

While their 2023 form left plenty to be desired, you would write off Germany in this tournament. Germany will not be short on stars at this very tournament with Julian Nagelsmann striking a balance between youth and experience.

The retiring Toni Kroos recently returned to national team duty and took just few seconds to show the impact he can have.

Fellow veterans Manuel Neuer and Thomas Muller will also be desperate to guide their nation to glory on their home soil with no outright host winning the tournament since France in 1984. This is a Germany team that failed in two world cup tournaments, two

group stage exits and failing to go beyond the round of 16 at Euro 2020. Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann has injected fresh energies into the team’s squad,

Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala set to play off the red-hot Kai Harvertz up top. Their defense is rather solid, while the experienced heads of Manuel Neuer, IIkay Gundogan, Toni Kross and Thomas Muller will hope to keep the young players grounded. The host has all what it takes to win the trophy if they will work perfectly well with they have.

5.Spain:

Spain are a nation trying to find their place in the new world order following their dynastic dominance. Spain superstars are long gone and their heirs to their thrones have not quite found their feet.

Pedri has threatened to take the world by storm, but injury has kept him silent for some couple of years.

Gavi is currently unavailable through injury and will miss the tournament. Despite that, there is still talents among the Spanish team, non-greater than Manchester city wonder man Pulling the strings in Midfield, but calling up Jesus Navas, Ayoze Perez and Alvaro Morata, there is also a shortage of labour for him.

Lamine Yamal could make history as the youngest player to feature at a European championship at the age of 16.

Spain can be seen as one of the favourites to win the trophy, owing to the new development in the team’s squad and the improvement in players, if they work collectively as a team, they might stand a chance of taking the glory home.
