  1. Mason mount

Mason Tony Mount is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking or central midfielder for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team.

Mount began his senior club career with Chelsea, and joined Vitesse and Derby County on consecutive loans between 2017 and 2019.

He established himself as an integral player for Chelsea in the following years, and won the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup in 2021. He was named Chelsea Player of the Year in the 2020–21 and 2021–22 seasons.

Mount won the UEFA European Under-19 Championship with the England national under-19 team in 2017. He made his senior international debut in 2019, at age 20, and was part of the England team at UEFA Euro 2020 and the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Mount started the 2020–21 season well, as he featured in all Chelsea matches including the one against Barnsley in the third round of the EFL Cup on 23 September, which ended in a 6–0 win at home. Three days later on 26 September, Mount scored his first goal of the season against West Bromwich Albion in a 3–3 away draw, in which Chelsea would come back 3-0 down to draw.

In the next fixture, however, Mount missed the decisive penalty in Chelsea’s 5–4 shoot-out loss away to Tottenham Hotspur in the fourth round of the EFL Cup on 29 September.

He scored in back-to-back games in January, first in a 4–0 home win against Morecambe in the third round of the FA Cup and then away to Fulham in a 1–0 Premier League victory.

On 24 January 2021, Mount captained Chelsea for the first time in a 3–1 win at home over Luton Town in the FA Cup. On 4 March, Mount scored the only goal in a 1–0 away league win over Liverpool, handing the Reds their fifth consecutive league defeat at Anfield for the first time in their history.

Mount scored his first goal in European football in Chelsea’s 2–0 win over Porto in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final on 7 April, becoming the youngest Chelsea player to score in the Champions League knockout stage.

On 27 April, he marked his 100th appearance for Chelsea in a 1–1 away draw against Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final first leg.

In the second leg at Stamford Bridge on 5 May, he scored the second goal in a 2–0 win over Real Madrid, which helped Chelsea advance to the Champions League Final 3–1 on aggregate.

Early in the season, Mount’s presence in the Chelsea and England starting line-ups was alleged by fans and media to be because of favouritism by respective team managers, Lampard and Gareth Southgate.

These doubts were allayed after Thomas Tuchel acknowledged Chelsea’s growing reliance on Mount calling him “crucial for our game” and “an absolutely key player” and endorsed him as one of the best players in Europe.

On 18 May, Mount was voted as Chelsea’s Player of the Year. On 29 May, Mount provided the assist for Kai Havertz’s goal, as Chelsea won 1–0 against Manchester City in the final in Porto to win the Champions League for the second time in their history, and Mount’s first trophy with the club.

Manchester United are prepared to turn to other targets after Chelsea rejected a third bid for Mason Mount; offer worth £55m turned down after first two bids rejected; Man Utd retain an interest in Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo.

United are actively looking at alternative targets and it was suggested they would not increase their £55m offer after their third bid went in.

It was also understood United were open to negotiating if they received a positive response from Chelsea.

His goal made him the joint-highest goalscoring African in the Serie A alongside George Weah and the African player with the most goals in a single Italian championship season, breaking Samuel Eto’o’s record in the process.

Three days later, he scored the winning goal from a penalty in a 1–0 victory over Fiorentina, to become the highest scoring African player in Serie A with 47 goals, overtaking Weah’s record. He finished the season as top scorer with 26 goals, to be the first African to achieve this feat.

Man Utd told what they need to do to sign Victor Osimhen after transfer agreement reached. Manchester United have been told they must pay £140million to sign Victor Osimhen this summer after agreeing a deal to sign his Napoli teammate Kim Min-jae.

Manchester United have been told they must pay £140million to sign Victor Osimhen this summer after agreeing a deal to sign his Napoli teammate Kim Min-jae.

Osimhen is a prime target for United this summer and he heads the club’s striking shortlist. United scouts attended Napoli’s Champions League clash against Milan last month and have been planning a move for the Nigerian since last summer.

His Napoli teammate Kim, 26, has already decided to join United despite only moving to Naples last year. The South Korean international enjoyed a tremendous campaign as he starred in the club’s remarkable Serie A title-winning campaign, but his contract contains a £43million release clause.

Osimhen spoke in March that it would be his “dream” to play in the Premier League as links with him moving to Old Trafford intensified. United have subsequently sent scouts to monitor the striker’s play.

Osimhen said  “I think playing in one of the top five leagues in the world is an amazing feeling for me. A lot of people worldwide consider the Premier League as the best and the strongest league but now I’m in one of the best leagues in the world which is the Italian Serie A.

I’m working so hard to make sure that I achieve my dream of playing in the Premier League someday but as I said, it’s a process and I just want to keep on this momentum and continue to do well.”

  1. Adrien Rabiot

Man Utd's possible signing for next season

Adrien Thibault Marie Rabiot  is a French professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Serie A club Juventus and the France national team.

Rabiot spent most of his career with Paris Saint-Germain, making his debut with the first team in 2012 and winning eighteen major honours, including five Ligue 1 titles and a domestic treble in 2015–16 and 2017–18.

In 2019, Rabiot signed for Juventus on a free transfer, winning the Serie A title during his first season with the club and the Coppa Italia in his second.

Rabiot was capped 53 times for France at youth level, and made his debut for the senior team in 2016, later taking part at UEFA Euro 2020 and the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

On 1 July 2019, Rabiot signed for Italian Serie A champions Juventus on a free transfer. He made his debut for the club on 24 August, in the team’s opening match of the 2019–20 Serie A season, coming on as a second-half substitute for Sami Khedira in a 1–0 away win over Parma.

He scored his first goal for the club on 7 July 2020 – the opening goal in a 4–2 away loss to Milan in Serie A – with a “spectacular finish from the edge of the box – after running with the ball from his own half.

On 9 March 2021, he scored his first Champions League goal with Juventus in a 3–2 win after extra-time against FC Porto in the 2020–21 UEFA Champions League round of 16; however, Juventus were eliminated on away goals.

Manchester United have reportedly reignited their interest in Juventus’ Adrien Rabiot, as the French midfielder is set to become a free agent once his contract expires at the end of this month.

Adrien Rabiot has already told Manchester United that he’d like to play in the Premier League with the Red Devils currently in talks with his representatives regarding a transfer.

The French midfielder, 28, is set to be a free agent come July 1, as his contract with Juventus is due to expire. With no new deal in sight, the Athletic reports that United chiefs have made contact and rekindled their interest after opting to walk away from negotiations last summer because of Rabiot’s extravagant wage demands.

Despite his struggles over three mixed seasons in Turin, the 28-year-old wanted parity with some of the Red Devils’ best-paid players, a demand which Old Trafford officials weren’t prepared to bend to. Since then, Rabiot has enjoyed his most fourth and most productive campaign in a troubled Juventus side, scoring 11 goals and registering six assists across 48 games in all competitions.

But the France international has constantly been weighing up his next move, knowing that Juve likely can’t afford to keep him on the same salary due to their well-documented financial issues.

Whilst being a regular starter for his country during the World Cup, the Paris Saint-Germain academy graduate declared: “I have always said that I’d like to play in England in my career.
