The UEFA champions league Analysis. Over the years, the champions league has always been a test to Know the best football team in the world.

So many teams across Europe has proved them self to be the best when it comes to this game.

The likes of Real Madrid that has lifted the trophy 14 times, likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, Barcelona, AC Milan and lots of them.

These teams has proven beyond every reasonable doubts that they are kings of the champions league.

Champions league cannot be discussed without these aforementioned teams being called.

The UEFA Champions League (previously known as the European Cup, abbreviated as UCL, or sometimes, UEFA CL) is an annual club association football competition organised by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA)

It is contested by top-division European clubs, deciding the competition winners through a round robin group stage to qualify for a double-legged knockout format, and a single leg final.

It is the most-watched club competition in the world and the third most-watched football competition overall.

Behind only the UEFA European Championship and the FIFA World Cup. It is one of the most prestigious football tournaments in the world and the most prestigious club competition in European football,

Played by the national league champions (and, for some nations, one or more runners-up) of their national associations.

Manchester City are the current European champions, having beaten Inter Milan 1–0 in the 2023 final for their first title.

The fixtures for the quarter finals of the game was drawn on Friday. Let’s take a look at them.

Arsenal vs Bayern Munich:

This is going to be a great football clash, I’m sure the world can’t wait to see this game come to play. It Will go down on the 9th of April 2024.

The gunner will welcome Bayern Munich at the Emirate stadium for their first leg in the quarter finals.

Bayern Munich supporters will be banned from attending the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie against Arsenal at the Emirates next month.

Tuchel’s side, though, will travel to the Emirates without the support of their typically, noisy following after UEFA banned Bayern supporters from attending the away leg of the quarter-finals due to fans throwing fireworks onto the pitch during last month’s round-of-16 tie at Lazio.

With this, Arsenal been handed huge advantage in the game, because Bayern will lack fans to cheer them up. Arsenal could use this to their Advantage.

Judging from Arsenal current form and Bayern’s current form, the match is sure going to be a tough one.

The two football giants will fight with everything they have to make sure they qualify to the next stage of the competition. But the funny thing is that one of the two teams must qualify.

After the first leg on the 9th of April, the second leg will come up on the 17th of April. There the fate of the both teams are being decided.

In history Bayern has always won Arsenal, the last time they played it ended in a 6:1 win in the favor of Bayern. This means that Bayern has had the upper hand.

Will history repeat itself this time around or will the Gunners break this record?

In the same vane, Harry Kane will return to north London for the first time since leaving Tottenham for Bayern Munich last summer after the Bavarians were drawn on Friday against Arsenal in the quarterfinals.

Real Madrid vs Manchester city:

Another cracker here, the clash of the Titans. Going down on the 9th of April 2024.

Manchester City has been drawn against Real Madrid in a mouthwatering Champions League quarterfinal clash.

Real Madrid will be looking for revenge after suffering a 5-1 aggregate drubbing at the hands of City in last season’s semifinals, as Pep Guardiola’s side went on to win the title for the first time in the club’s history.

The first leg of the game is to hold in Madrid at the Santiago Bernabao. And the second leg to to hold in North west England at the Etihad stadium on the 17th of April.

Atletico Madrid vs Borrusia Dortmund:

Atletico Madrid is playing home against Borussia Dortmund at Civitas Metropolitano on Wed, Apr 10, 2024,

And on the 16th they’re expected the play their second leg in Borrusia’s home.

PSG vs Barcelona:

The match will go down on the 10th of April 2024. This match is not a child’s play as Mbappe already has Barcelona players on edge.

After learning about the quarter-final match of the UEFA Champions League against Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo spoke about it and did not hesitate to point out Kylian Mbappé as the French team’s main threat in the tie.

Araujo will need to contain the 25-year-old if the Catalan side wants to advance. While not wanting to give everything away, the Uruguayan noted what makes the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner dangerous.

“He is a great rival, a great player,” Araujo told the Spanish media outlet. “For me, nowadays, he is the most unsettling in one-on-one situations and a very important player for them.”

Barcelona will not be overawed by the prospect of Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe in the UEFA Champions League quarter finals.

Despite the ongoing focus on Xavi Hernandez’s summer departure, Barcelona are well placed to seal a top four spot, and plot a bold Champions League push.

With the pressure of defending their La Liga title now reduced, Xavi and his players can switch track to their Champions League ambitions.

Barcelona do have the advantage of a home second leg but the prospect of holding off Mbappe is a daunting one.

However, despite the spectre of Mbappe’s determination to win the Champions League before he leaves Paris this summer, Barcelona vice president Rafa Yuste is confident of repelling him.

“Barcelona can stop the attacks of Mbappe and PSG. Mbappe is a great player but we look at this as a team”,  Marca quotes.

“Our defence conceded very few goals last season. We have to be very serious in both games and do the right things for the team.”

Barcelona have faced PSG ten times before in Champions League action, with four wins to their name, including the incredible ‘Remontada’ comeback victory in 2017.

Let’s wait in Anticipation and see what will happen on the 10th (the first leg) and on 16th (which is the second leg).
