Weekend premier league fixtures

This prestigious league has been kicked off in a grand style, last week which was the opening games of the campaign was quite interesting.

The defending champions of the league (Manchester city) took on the defending champions of the championship (Burnley) in a stunning 3:0 win on Friday last week.

This game served as the opening game of the campaign and it was a marvelous one to watch. Afterwards other themes played their various games during the weekend and I must say it was worth watching.

Another weekend is here and the teams are ready to take on their opponents and grab their three points. Below are few analysis and fixtures.

  1. 19th August 2023:

Six matches are to be played today, there are:

– Fulham vs Brentford: Fulham and Brentford will go head-to-head today at exactly 3pm. Fulham won Everton 0:1 last weekend and has secured the 6th position in the league table.

Brentford in the other hand had a 2:2 draw against Tottenham last week and had secured the 9th position.

The both teams will clash at noon to struggle for three points.

– Liverpool vs AFC Bournemouth: Liverpool will host Bournemouth at Anfield. The reds would be looking forward to winning the game and securing more points as they had a draw against Chelsea last week.

Bournemouth also ended their game in a draw and are expecting a win to boast their point and go higher in the table.

– Luton town vs Burnley: Luton town and Burnley has being postponed, reasons being that before the season started, the Hatters requested that their first home fixture of the campaign be postponed as Kenilworth Road is still ‘undergoing a programme of extensive ground improvements to be ready to host Premier League football.

– Wolves vs Brighton: this clash is going to be though, reasons being that wolves lost their last game to Manchester united on Monday and would be all out to win this one.

While Brighton on the other hand would be fighting to maintain their winning ways.

– Tottenham vs Manchester united: Tottenham Hotspur will host Manchester united in their home stadium. Tottenham finished with a draw against Brentford last week and united won one 1:0 against Wolves.

Manchester united would want to maintain their winning ways today and Tottenham on the other hand would want to grab their first win for the season. The match will be a marvelous one to watch.

– Man city vs Newcastle: The defending champions are hosting Newcastle at exactly 8pm today at the Etihad stadium.

Newcastle started this campaign in a grand style by comfortably trashing Aston villa 5:1 last week. With the winning spirit they will face man city who won their opening game with a thrilling 3:0 win against Burnley.

The both teams are good and would want to win the game to maintain their winning points.

  1. 20th August 2023:

these are the matches slated to be played tomorrow.

– Aston villa vs Everton: the both teams lost their their opening games and would want to grab a point today.

This would be a strong battle, Aston villa lost with 4 goals while Everton lost with just one goal so the game won’t be ordinary.

– West Ham vs Chelsea: Chelsea looks to be at a better form considering how they performed against Liverpool. They have only just one point at the moment and they are out to win this one.

West Ham also wants a win after getting a draw last week against Bournemouth.

3: 21st August 2023:

only one fixture.

– Cristal palace vs Arsenal: The both teams won their opening game and would want to secure the Honor. Arsenal has been on their best form recently and with the new development on their players, they will work hard to win the game.

Cristal palace as well won their opening game against Sheffield and would want to maintain their winning ways.
